It's been so long since I have posted, that I thought I would let everyone know that we are still alive & kicking. We have had a veryinteresting summer to say the lease. We did have a wonderful time on our cruise to Alaska last June & when I get my own computer set back up, I will post some pictures of the trip. We have been staying with our kids all summer while trying to find a place of our own. The first part of August we made a trip to Oregon to check on Preston's father who has has some health concerns. While there we went to the Oregon Coast Aquarium & will post those pictures as well. It has been a long summer & just as soon as things get back to normal, I'll post more often.

Here it is April again & my how the past year has gone by. In a week it will mark the one year anniversary since my father past away. That's so hard to believe. We have had a fairly good year. Mom came down for six weeks last summer and then for another two weeks at Christmas. We made a trip to Oregon in October to see her & Preston's family. And now we are getting ready to head back up there next week. It will be nice to spend my birthday with mom under different circemestances this year.

We have had lots of things happen in the past year. We celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary, became a year older (and we think a year wiser as well). Made a couple of more trips back to Oregon. Added a new granddaughter, had a son get married (and they just bought a new home which is being built for them). Preston changed jobs, was extented new callings. And now we are looking to move here this month as well. Our health has been good for the most part. We had tons of snow this winter and are so looking forward to spring blossems soon.

As I look back over the year, I think of all the things that have gone on in our everyday lives. My how the Lord has blessed me & my family. I have also taken on the challenge of reading the Book of Mormon in 90 days to honor President Hinckley. I am almost finshed with it & hope to be before I head to see mom. thank you to all who have been there for me this past year. I'll add pictures for all to see when I get back home on the 20th.

Just a couple of pictures of the kids while in Las Vegas this past weekend. Courtnie & Ryan the night we checked in. This is around 12:30 am. They loved the lights. Thing 1 & Thing 2 (aka. Shane & Ryan). Amanda Lynn, just a chill'en on Saturday morning. And here is Courtnie playing miniture golf. She was having a hard time with the putter. It kept turning on her.

It is hard to believe that three of our kids are married now. Just one more to go & who knows how long that will be. Kyle says it will be a long time before he gets married, if he ever does.

Preston & I took the family out to the Olive Garden for dinner. We had this cake for them. It is hard to see but the bride is dragging the groom for the cake topper. You can see, they had some fun with the eating of the cake.

Our son Steven decided to left us know on Thursday afternoon that we were all invited to his wedding this past weekend in Las Vegas. So Friday night after work everyone headed on down to be there on Saturday.

Here is the happy couple (Allison & Steven) on Saturday morning before the wedding. It was a beautiful afternoon, witht he sun shining & tempture was around a warm 70 degrees. We are so lucky to have Allison as a member of our family, she & Steven are perfect together.

Well, I finally got this quilt all done. It has taken me a while to do it but it's finished. This is the quilt that I had to remake for my son Kyle. There are four rows right in the middle of the quilt that are from the original quilt. thanks to all who donated the fabric to help me with this project.

Mom was down for Christmas this year & we went to Temple Square for the Tabernacle Choir Christmas concert. It was a very cold night but we still had fun seeing all the lights.

Well, the Gannon's have finally joined the crowd in starting a new blog site.

This is of our first ever cruise trip. we went to Mexico last January and had the time of our lives. we will be going on an Alaskan cruise in June with several of our friends.
